On Thursday, June 7, The National Council for Research on Women convened the 2012 Leadership Summit, The Challenge and the Charge: Strategies for Retaining and Advancing Women of Color. The Summit brought together leading researchers, corporate executives, and diversity professionals to explore best practices, recommendations, and cutting-edge research in creating sustainable, profitable, diverse, and inclusive work environments.

You're invited to MemoirFest, an all-day symposium on women writers and memoir, at the Gerlinger Lounge on the University of Oregon campus on Saturday May 12, 2012. MemoirFest will feature presentations and panel discussions by Debra Gwartney, Crystal Williams, Lidia Yuknavitch, Lauren Kessler, Margarita Donnelly, Elizabeth Reis, and Dominick Vetri. You and other registered participants are invited to take part in roundtable discussions with the panelists on all aspects of memoir.
